My Country Walks

Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 22nd August 2023 - Cleeve Hill

A bright sunny morning but with a strong chilly breeze at the begining. We followed the Cotswold Way through the golf course, over the first trig point,  past the pylons to the second trig point to the car park by Wardens Wood. Then along the track and down through the Breakheart Plantaion around Postlip Hall and back to the start. 7 miles.

Going up to the trig point.

Wontley Farm comes into view.
