Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Monday 20th April 2020 On the side of Langley Hill

A short walk from home on the side of Langley Hill just above Gretton on some footpaths I have not been on before.

5 miles and 700 feet of ascent.

Friday 17th April 2020 Social Distancing in Winchcombe Today


Social distancing – something unimaginable just a few weeks ago until this terrible virus took hold. These are four shops in Winchcombe today and this is being repeated across the globe. Stay safe.

Tuesday 14th April 2020 Langley Hill

A walk from home towards Gretton then over Langley Hill

Easter Monday 13th April 20220 Blossom in and around Winchcombe

A very different bank holiday but the sun was shining and so much blossom is out.

Friday 3rd April 2020 Fluke's Hill

A short local walk from Winchcombe initially following the Gloucestershire Way steeply up to Flukes Hill. Along the Salt Way for a short distance and back down on the Winchcombe Way.
