Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 30th March 2021 Great Tew

On a glorious spring morning. My first group walk for over a year. We started in Great Tew - the first time I had visited this area. Blue sky everywhere and an area picture postcards! We did a figure of eight walk of just over 11 miles.

Saturday 20th March 2021 - The Slaughters

 A bike rid to Upper and Lower Slaughter 28 miles with  2800 feet of ascent.

Thursday 11th March 2021 Cleeve Hill

A longer walk today from Winchcombe to Cleeve Hill and returning through Charlton Abbots and Waterhatch. 14 miles with 1209 feet of ascent. A windy day and very, very blustery on to of Cleeve Hill.

Sunday 7th March - Bike ride through Snowshill and Broadway

 A superb sunny morning with no wind. 28 miles with 1700 feet of ascent through Snowshill, Broadway and Ashton-under-Hill
