Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 19th May - Willersey

A cooler morning from Willersey to Saintbury then up to Campden along Buckle Street and up again to Weston Park. On to Dover's Hill, through the Lynches Wood to Weston-sub-Edge and back. 8 miles and 1200 feet ascent.

Sunday 17th May Winchcombe Walking Festival - Belas Knapp

Co-leading a walk for the Winchombe Walking Festival visiting ancient sites at Spoonley Vilaa and Belas Knap. 17 guests on the walk. Excellent weather except near the end when we had a very heavy shower. 10 miles in all.

Friday 15th May Winchcombe Walking Festival - Gloucestershire Way

Co-leading a walk for the Winchcombe Walking Festival. From Condicote following the Gloucestershire way back to Winchcombe. 10.5 miles in all. Very cool and fresh at the start but much warmer in the afternoon - perfect weather for the walk showing springtime at its beast. 20 guests on the walk.
