My Country Walks

Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Wednesday 28th July - Diamond Way 1

The first section of the Diamond Way led by the Cotswold Wardens. An easy 10 miles from Moreton in the Marsh to Chipping Campden.    We used the community Hedgehog Bus to get to the start. A complete bag of mixed weather. Sunshine, rain and a thunder storm. The total walk is about 66 miles and we will do it in 6 sections between now and the end of the year.
