A solo walk to review and check the details for one of the published walks on the Winchome Welcoms Walkers website. This starts near the viaduct for the GWR near Stanway. 7 miles with 1000ft ascent.
A footpath goes right underneath it next to the farm - an impressive structure and almost work of art too.
You get a much better view of it from the footpath on the other side.
Next into Stanway.
The Watermill
Then up the steeper bit
Looking down on Wood Stanway
At the top is the Beckbury Monument
Looking down on Winchcombe
The track into Farmcote
St Faith's church
Through the crops
Louping around the valley
Just before Winchcombe
The track across to Farmcote
