Tuesday 28th November 2023 - Cleeve Hill

Starting from the car park next to Warden's Wood on Cleeve Hill. Initially going alonside the Breakheart Plantation, past the abandoned car to Postlipp Mills. Then past Postlip Hall and back on to Cleeve Hill by the little reservoir below the quarries. Up the long valley to the memorial tree, through the butterfly area below the mast and back to the start. 7 miles with 1100 feet ascent Click Here to Download gpx file

Just past the mill we stopped for coffee break where the horse took a real interest in Roger

The little reservoir below the quarries next to the old sheep dip

Up the valley and past the source of the River Isbourne

To the memorial tree
