My Country Walks

Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Wednesday 11th December 2019 Fish Hill

Starting from Fish Hill car park. Along the Cotswold Way to Broadway Tower with a fine rainbow below us.

Down to the edge of Broadway then through the underpass and much mud on our way to Saintbury. From here on to Weston-sub-Edge and up to Lynches Wood, Bold Gap and Dover's Hill. Returning on The Mile Drive to the start.

9 miles and 1200 feet of ascent.

Rainbow above Broadway - but where is the pot of gold?
