My Country Walks

Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Sunday 15th December 2019 Cranham

Heavy rain at the start as we set off from the lay-by near Cranham. Across Cranham Common to Overtown. The rain stopped, we continued along the track to Cranham Wood. Up and over the ridge to join the Cotwold Way to the Roman Villa for our lunch stop. Back up to the bottom of Cooper's Hill and again on the Cotwold Way to Rough Park and then through Buckholt Wood.

About 6.5 miles and 1300 feet of ascent.
