A gentle 3 mile walk with the Probus group from the Fleet Inn at Twyning. Even hotter today.
Our route took us to Church End and then down to the flood plane to follow the river back to Twyning.

Into Warwickshire to Halford on a glorious summers day - the hottest day so far this year for an 8 mile walk to Ettington. Lush green fields and superb views with lots of meadow flowers.
Great to return to the Tuesday group on a super morning for a walk from Moreton-in-the-Marsh to Longbourough. About 8.5 miles and memorablefor the many stiles at the end of the walk. Never before have we been over so many stiles in such a short distance.
Afterwards a chance to play croquet at Moreton-in-the-Marsh and what fun that was!
My second walk co-leading for the Winchcombe Walking Festival. A steam train from Greet to Toddington and then walking back to Greet - about 5 miles with 21 on the walk.
Good to be out and walking again co-leading a walk for the Winchcombe Walking Festival from Winchcombe to the source of the River Isbourne on Cleeve Hill - about 6 miles with 10 people on the walk. Out along Langley Road and then up and across to the edge of Cleeve Hill. Around to the little reservoir by the washpool and along to one of the springs feeding the River Isbourne. Returning past Postlip Hall and Postlip Mill.
