Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 10th December 2024 - The Green Dragon

 From the Green Dragon near Cowley. Into Wards Wood and then steeply up through Cowley Wood and acros to the A417 and then turning back to Elkstone. Back past Cockleford Farm and steeply up again pas Westbury Farm. Then dow to Cowley and back to the Green Dragon for lunch. 7 miles with 700 fett ascent. A dull morning with lots of mud underfoot.
