My Country Walks

Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 21st July 2026 - Stanton

Back in Stanton but on a different route.  To Stanway then going steeply up through Lidcombe Wood and almost to Snowshill. Next to Great Brockhampton Farm and pick-up the Winchcombe Way to follow it back to Stanton. A super warm sunny morning but getting much hotter at the end. 8 miles with 1100 feet ascent.
