Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 14th July 2026 - Stanton

Stanton, refreshingly cool at the start of the walk. To Laverton, Buckland and then on the Cotswold Way to Shenberrow Hill. Down through Lidcombe Wood and returning via Stanway. Much warmer at the end.  8.5 miles with 1000 feet ascent
