My Country Walks

Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 6th May 2025 - Hayles

A walk with the five mile group today and an opportunity for Linda to join the group. From Hayles fruit farm and up to the Beckbury monument. Along to Stumps Cross, Down to Wood Stanway and back. A beautiful sunny day, but not too warm. Lots of other about too. 6 miles with 700 feet ascent.
