Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 25th June 2024 - Chedworth

Seven of us for the walk today starting from the National Trust site at Chedworth Villa. The second day of the temporary heat wave and it was hot, fortunately we were in the woods for part of the walk. 7 miles with 600ft ascent. All had lunch and or coffee at the end.

Haymaking and some of us were fascinated by the way the bales were wrapped in polythene using a giant 'clingfilm' machine.
