With the Winchcombe Probus group from Batsford to Blockley on another beautiful autumn morning. 5 miles.

From Chedworth on a fresh cool sunny morning. Very autumnal. 9 miles.

Tuesday 14th October 2025 - Wardens Wood

A bumper turnout today with 13 on the walk (incuding 2 guests). Following the Coln Trail from Wardens Wood to Charlton Pool then through Brockhampton, Sevenhampton, Syreford and Whittington. A very dull autumnal day and we were in the clouds on the higher ground. Lots of shades of Autumn. 7.5 miles with 600 ft ascent.

Sunday 12th October - Didbrook

Leading a walk with the Cleeve Ramblers from Didbrook. Following the railway line to Hailes the up to Farmcote, along Campden Lane to Stumps Cross and then down through Wood Stanway. 7 miles with 800ft ascent. Very dull at first but the sun came out later.

Tuesday 7th October Kilkenny

A while since I have walked from the Kilkenney nature reserve. Going south over Shill Hill and through Withington Woods to Withington. Returning past Upcote Farm and Thorndale, then through Foxcote. 10 miles with 600 feet ascent.
