My Country Walks

Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 9th September - Long Compton

A walk in the North Cotswolds starting in Long Compton. I haven't previously walked in this area before, it's always good to walk in a completely new area. A sunny day and lots of rolling hills so typical of the Cotswolds. Our route took us through Barton on the Heath, Great Wolford and Little Wolford. 11 miles in total with 900 ft ascent.
