Welcome to my new blog following my move to the Cotswolds in early 2018.

Previously living on the edge of Dartmoor I shared details of my walks on Dartmoor on my previous blog My Dartmoor Walks. As I explore this new area I will share details of the routes here.

Tuesday 25th February 2025 Andoversford

From Andoversford. Going through Shipton Oliffe, Salperton and Hawling. A beautiful sunny day. 11 miles with 900 feet ascent.

Tuesday 18th February 2025 - Burford

Burford - hadn't been here for many years and always good to walk in a new area.  Great to have the sun out again after several weeks of gloomy weather! We headed off to Fulbrook, Swinbroon and Widford. 8 miles with 500 feet ascent.

Tuesday 11th February 2025 Great Tew

Our walk from Great Tew. Not a place I get to very often. Going through the edge of Heythrop Park, Church Enstone, Cleveley and past Soho Farmhouse. A dull gloomy morning and muddy underfoot but it always good to be out! 10 miles with 800 feet ascent.

4th February 2025 - Hidcote

From Hidcote and up to the masts. Then to Foxcote House, on to Ebrington and Hidcote Boyce, back up the hill and down our orignal track. 7 miles with 800 feet ascent
